Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 June 2026

This policy explains how Kaarav Technologies Ltd (trading as Kaarav, "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit this website or contact us, and your rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We are the data controller for this processing.

1. Who we are

Kaarav Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16112481). Registered office: 10-16 Tiller Road, London, England, E14 8PX. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact info@kaarav.com.

2. The personal data we collect

Information you give us

If you complete our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, company (if provided), the nature of your interest, and the content of your message. If we go on to discuss services, we may collect further business-contact and project information you choose to share.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs when you visit — including your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and timestamps — used to operate and secure the site.

Cookies and local storage

We use a single item of browser local storage to remember your cookie-banner choice. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. See section 6.

3. How we use your data, and our lawful bases

4. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with: service providers who help us run the site (our website host, and the content-delivery and font providers that serve code and fonts to your browser); professional advisers where necessary; and authorities where required by law. Contact-form submissions are delivered through our own server, not a third-party form service.

5. International transfers

Some service providers (for example, our content-delivery network and font service) may process your data on servers outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not set analytics or marketing cookies. We use one local-storage item to record your response to the cookie banner, and we keep anonymous, aggregate usage counts (for example, how many people complete the readiness check) that contain no cookies and no personal data. Third-party resources loaded to render the page (a code-library CDN and a web-font service) may process your IP address to deliver those resources. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, and clear local storage and cookies in your browser settings.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then delete it. Server logs are retained for a limited period by our hosting provider for security and diagnostics.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your data; to rectification; to erasure; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). To exercise any right, email info@kaarav.com. We will respond within one month.

9. Complaints

If you have a concern we cannot resolve, you can complain to the UK supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the latest version.
